Welcome to The Learning Lab
Welcome to The Learning Lab Afterschool Program! We are so excited to partner with your family this school year. Our program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can grow academically, socially, and personally.
This handbook contains important information about our policies, procedures, and expectations. Please read it thoroughly and keep it as a reference throughout the year. By enrolling your child, you agree to abide by all policies outlined in this handbook.
Mission Statement
The Learning Lab is committed to providing a high-quality afterschool experience that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of every child. We believe every child has the potential to explore, learn, grow, and succeed.
Program Location
The Learning Lab is located at Kingdom Cathedral, 3820 Stoneshore Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
Program Hours
The program operates Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the regular school year. The program follows the Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) calendar.
Ages Served
The Learning Lab serves children ages 3–11. Children must be enrolled in school or a pre-K program to participate.
